This one was a fun build. A homeowner in Sunriver, Oregon wanted a chimney cap that actually matched the feel of their home - clean lines, modern look, nothing generic off a shelf. So we designed and fabricated a blade-style cap from scratch in our shop, built specifically for this chimney.

The blade-style design is exactly what it sounds like - horizontal metal slats stacked in a layered pattern that gives the cap a sharp, architectural look. It's the kind of detail that fits right in on a contemporary home without screaming for attention. And from the rooftop view, you can see how well the matte black finish ties into the home's dark trim and roofline. It just belongs there.

But this isn't just about looks. A properly fitted chimney cap is one of the most practical things you can put on your home. It keeps rain, snow, debris, and animals out of your flue - problems that cause real damage if left unchecked. In an area like Sunriver where you're surrounded by pine trees and deal with real winters, that protection matters. A cap that fits tight and is built from durable material isn't optional, it's necessary.

What sets a custom cap apart from a stock one is the fit. We measure the chimney, fabricate to those exact dimensions, and install it so there's no gap, no wobble, no guessing. Every weld and edge is finished in the shop before it ever goes on the roof. That's the difference between something that lasts and something you're replacing again in a few years.

We handle everything from simple chimney cap replacements to fully custom builds like this one. If your current cap is rusted out, missing, or just an eyesore on an otherwise nice home, we can put together something that works better and looks better.
