Custom Powder-Coated Concave Chimney Cap for Outdoor Fireplace in Oregon City

Outdoor fireplaces are a serious investment. The stonework, the hardscape, the whole setup - it deserves a cap that actually matches the quality of everything around it. A generic, off-the-shelf cap just doesn't cut it on a build like this. That's where custom chimney cap fabrication comes in.

We built this concave-style chimney cap from scratch in our shop, then brought it out to Oregon City for installation. The cap was designed specifically for this fireplace - not a close fit, not an approximate fit, but a true custom fit. The powder-coat finish gives it a clean matte black look that holds up against rain, UV exposure, and everything else the Pacific Northwest throws at it.

The concave profile is one of our favorite designs to build. It has a classic, architectural feel that adds real visual weight to the top of the chimney. Combined with the mesh ventilation band, it keeps debris and critters out while still letting the fireplace breathe the way it's supposed to. Functional and good-looking - that's what we're going for every time.
